Glenn Hohnstreiter

Glenn F. Hohnstreiter Phd.

Specializing in fine art photography, Master Photographer Glenn Hohnstreiter of
Albuquerque has developed a style that uniquely interprets images of nature.

Glenn has received many national awards. The Professional Photographers of
America named him the Gold Photographer of the Year 2004 and again in 2007 (one
of only 40 individuals nationally each year). His images have been included at Walt
Disney World, EPCOT Center, Photokina in Cologne, Germany, at "Imaging Asia
2005". Daegu, Korea, many PPA exhibits for over 20 years, the New Mexico
Natural History Museum. and the 20I0 NOW exhibit at the Albuquerque Museum.
Over a dozen of his images are included in the permanent collection of the
International Hall of Fame for Photography. He was selected to produce the
official portrait of the Albuquerque TriCentennial. He was appointed to the
Albuquerque Arts Board in 2008. His works have been published widely. Most
recently, one of his images was selected for inclusion in the American Society of
Photographers Exhibit at Dulles Airport featuring 45 american landscape images.

Glenn is a member of the Professional Photographers of America, where he
holds the degrees of Master of Photography and Photographic Craftsman.
He is a past president of the Professional Photographers Association of New
Mexico. He received the National Award in 2006 for Lifetime Achievement and
Service. He is a member of the Lifetime Achievement Society of Photographers.
Glenn's artistic vision was developed from a mutual appreciation of both
science and art. He was granted the PhD. degree from Stanford University
and the M.S. and B.S. degrees from the University of Illinois.
